Korea: Mulberry Leaf

Mulberry has long been used for its health properties in Chinese herbal medicine and is considered a superfood for its many attributes. The taste is a cross between a pan-fired green tea and peppermint leaves.  Young leaves have been cut and rolled before drying to enhance the flavor and aroma further. Rolling allows the leaves to steep and effectively release flavor in hot water.
